"This is a completely honest review and is not influenced by anybody."

FAMOUS FIVE

It is every authors ambition to become known and to be loved by his/her readers. Not many accomplish it, but those who do, always stay in the memories of their readers. Enid Mary Blyton is one of those rare writers. Enid Blyton not only wrote a humongous amount of stories ( at least 600 ) but wrote such great stories that almost each of her books became a bestseller.

One such series written by Enid Blyton is 'THE FAMOUS FIVE'. One of her best series, the books of series broke huge number of records. Wanna know how it all started ? Then lets have a look at the first book of this series:- 'Five On A Treasure Island'

FIVE ON A TREASURE ISLAND:-

The book's lead characters are 2 brothers and a sister, Julian, Dick and Anne and their cousin Georgina,  with Julian being the eldest, Georgina and dick being of the same age, and Anne being the youngest. Julian, Dick and Anne meet Georgina for the first time in their lives in this book and they are at once fascinated by  her. They come to know that despite being a girl, Georgina wants to be seen as a boy and not as a girl. This is because she hates being a girl, as she does not like the things which girls do and rather likes the things that boys do. And she hates being a girl so much that she even wants her name changed from Georgina to George and wouldn't even reply to you if you call her Georgina. And since from the beginning she did not get on well with other people, she only ever had 1 single friend. And guess what, it ain't  a human, it's a dog! The dogs name is Timothy (Timmy for short) and George loves him dearly and considers him her best friend. And guess what else, George's family even has a  private island of her own!(Well, with all these traits, who wouldn't be fascinated by her)

At the beginning, they don't get well with each other, but eventually they become friends and go on to solve some of the most breathtaking riddles which we see in the upcoming books.

From the peculiar cousin to the mysterious island, from the short tempered Uncle Quentin to the sweet natured Aunt Fanny, from the terrifying storm to the shipwreck at the beach, from getting trapped in the dungeons to the discovery of a secret map, the book is filled with such great moments, with some moments being extremely funny while some other moments being very spooky !!!.

DO READ THE BOOK, YOU ARE GONNA LOVE IT !!!

Important chemical compounds for Class 10

Chemistry is a subject which never fails to annoy students, But we are here to provide short notes about some compounds which are very important from chemistry's point of view. So ,without any further ado... LETS GET STARTED  !!! SODIUM CHLORIDE:- white crystalline solid insoluble in alcohol pure NaCl is not hygroscopic.it is hygroscopic due to impurities. used in 'salting' out of soap and making freezing mixtures. SODIUM HYDROXIDE:- prepared by chlor-alkali process. It is generally formed near cathode. It is deliquescent in nature. It is a white crystalline solid. It is corrosive It is sparingly soluble in alcohol. However, KOH is fairly soluble in alcohol. On exposure to atmosphere, it absorbs CO2 and forms sodium carbonate carbon monoxide is neutral but it shows acidic nature with NaOH sodium hydroxide break down protein to a pasty mass it is also called soda lye. SODIUM CARBONATE:- most important chemical of commercial use. Na2CO3.H2O is also known as crystal carbonat
